Will Stoker answers some questions about his journey as a School Leaver Trainee

What made you start a career in accountancy?

I've always enjoyed working with figures and was looking for a job that would involve this. Having completed two months of work experience with Larking Gowen as part of my T-Level studies, I knew that this was a firm that I wanted to work with in the future, and I'm so happy now that I'm working here full time!

What’s something you didn’t expect?

I didn't expect to be using my English more than my maths! I think I spend more time asking questions and problem solving than doing complex equations.

What are your career goals?

Currently I'm working towards my level 4 Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification before studying to become a qualified chartered accountant.
