What made you start a career in accountancy?

I have always enjoyed working with numbers, but I decided to pursue a career in accountancy after my internship in the accountancy field.

I really like the fact that the career offers diverse opportunities encompassing different specialisation and sectors. Also, the role of an accountant plays a crucial part in every business.

What’s something you didn’t expect?

Something I did not expect from accountancy is how dynamic the work could be, it goes beyond the numbers and requires you to understand the bigger picture.

It involves deep analysis and advising on financial decisions, which is far more engaging and influential than I anticipated.

What are your career goals?

I want to continually expand my skills and expertise in the accountancy field.

I aim to complete my ACA professional qualification and as I become more experienced, step into strategic roles where I can help drive business financial success.
