Larking Gowen is offering a 6-week Summer Internship to either our Norwich or Ipswich office. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills.

The successful candidate will…
- Gain exposure to client work, shadowing professionals and learning how accountants provide practical support to businesses.
- Contribute to day‑to‑day activities, such as preparing documents, reviewing data, and helping with routine tasks.
- Collaborate with colleagues and observe how client relationships are managed.
- Develop key skills, including attention to detail, organisation, and professional communication.
Key responsibilities:
- Consistently achieves deadlines and understands the commercial implications of actions relating to productivity, recoverability, fee income and client services.
- Communicates effectively with people.
- Maintains an up to date understanding of the firm and its clients.
Qualifications:
- Ideally, you’ll be working towards a degree or a professional qualification such as AAT, as well as having a Grade 4-9 in Maths and English Language at GCSE or equivalent.
- Preferably, you will also be competent at using Microsoft packages, internet, email and computerised accounts packages.
